WINNER OF LEICESTERSHIRE'S
"BEST VISITOR ATTRACTION OF THE YEAR 2004/5"

Summer Fun For All The Family

Enjoy a great day out exploring one of the country's largest maize mazes, set in 8 acres of living maize crop with 4 miles of paths to navigate and explore; it's great exercise for mind and body!

See if you can unravel the QUIZ TRAIL, and find all 10 boards hidden in the maze in order to decipher the secret code. The maze also incorporates 10ft high bridges and viewing towers which give visitors stunning 3D panoramic views over the maze and the beautiful surrounding countryside.

Visit our ACTIVITY FUNYARD and test your maze solving skills on a variety of mini mazes, puzzles and table-top activities before or after visiting the giant Wistow corn maze. A mini maze (also with hidden pictures) are in our funyard, as well as our popular 6 minute mazes, rope maze, hoopla, bean bag throwing, photo panel, football shooting game and more, so it's entertainment for all the family whatever your age.

Refreshments, ice creams and gifts are available in the FUNYARD.

This year the maze will be designed in the shape of Tutankhamun's mask. The quiz trail is themed on ancient civilization including the Egyptians, which coincides with Leics County Council's "Market Towns" initiative for 2008.

The maze combines artistic talent, cutting edge technology and traditional farming techniques, and lasts only 8 weeks before it is cut down and used for cattle fodder. It is quite an education watching the maize grow throughout the summer, and be warned it is not for human consumption, unless you like your corn very tough!

Refreshments, ice creams and gifts are available in the FUNYARD.

Opposite the maze is the Wistow Rural Centre with a variety of shops, a cafe/bistro, farm shop, garden centre and an enchanting model village. Toilets on site.

So come and have a GREAT DAY OUT whether you like solving puzzles, climbing up towers, waving flags, deciphering codes, walking, shopping, eating ice-creams, feeding ducks, visiting an historic Church or just getting lost! - there's something for everybody.
