Welcome to Wistow in Leicester, a beautiful and historic English hamlet in rolling countryside just a few miles south of Leicester and north of Market Harborough.

Famous for the Wistow Maze (with new design and quiz trail each summer), the thriving Rural Centre with its large garden centre, model village, café/bistro, Mediterranean deli, art gallery and a variety of shops - press on the Rural Centre tab for full list of shops & numbers).

There are numerous country walks around St Wistan’s Church and the Grand Union Canal, attractive cottages and flats for rental, and views of historic Wistow Hall with its scenic parkland and lake.

THE WISTOW MAZE

Winner of Leicestershire's "Best Visitor Attraction"

The Wistow Maze is now CLOSED.

The giant 8 acre maize maze will re-open in July 2015, designed in a new shape and with a different themed quiz trail.

The winner of the 2014 Quiz Trail Competition was Miss Lusty from Dorset who won 4 tickets to see the West End Show "War Horse".

Summer Fun for all the Family

The award-winning maze has a fun Quiz Trail hidden amongst 3 miles of intricate pathways, with high level bridges & towers giving stunning 3D panoramic views. Also includes an Activity Funyard.

For 2014 the maze had a 'First World War' theme and was designed in the shape of a "Field Cannon".

SANTA'S GROTTO now open at the Wistow Rural Centre

Come and meet Father Christmas and visit his wonderful Grotto situated at the Wistow Rural Centre.
You can also do all your Christmas shopping at the fabulous shops, and even buy a tree if you need one, before having a break at the Wistow Café.

OPENING DATES: Sat 29 & Sun 30 Nov / Sat 6 & Sun 7 Dec and then DAILY from Sat 13 - Wed 24 December 11am-4pm.
Tickets £7 for children (which includes a present), and grown-ups are FREE.
Up to 4 children can visit Father Christmas at any one time.
Tickets can be pre-booked or bought on the day.

MUSIC IN THE PARK - Saturday 13th June 2015

This highly popular annual charity concert is taking place on Saturday 13th June 2015 in the beautiful grounds of Wistow Hall (by kind permission of the Brooks family).
Bring your own picnic and enjoy a wonderful evening listening to music by a local covers band 'Krisis' and the award winning 'Hathern Brass Band'.
The evening finishes with a fabulous fireworks display in front of Wistow Hall.

The concert is raising money for "LOROS" (Leicestershire & Rutland Hospice) and "Leicester Charity Link" (supporting local people experiencing poverty in Leicestershire & Rutland).

The concert is organised by the Wigston Rotary Club.
