Welcome to Wistow in Leicester, a beautiful and historic English hamlet in rolling countryside just a few miles south of Leicester and north of Market Harborough.

Famous for the Wistow Maze (with new design and quiz trail each summer), the thriving Rural Centre with its large garden centre, model village, café/bistro, Mediterranean deli, art gallery and a variety of shops - press on the Rural Centre tab for full list of shops & numbers).

There are numerous country walks around St Wistan’s Church and the Grand Union Canal, attractive cottages and flats for rental, and views of historic Wistow Hall with its scenic parkland and lake.

Wistow Maze is now CLOSED for 2015.

It will re-open in July 2016 with a new theme and quiz trail.

WINNERS OF MAZE COMPETITION - Congratulations to Melanie Trinder & Alexander Love/Clare Townend who were the winners of the Wistow Maze Quiz Trail competition and have won a pair of "Hospitality Tickets" to see a Tigers Match.
The 20 Runners-up also won a pair of tickets to see a Tigers match, and all have been notified. Many thanks to Leicester Tigers for your generosity in donating all the prizes.

For 2015, due to England hosting the Rugby World Cup, the maze was designed in the shape of a 'Rugby Player', and it had a 'Sports' themed Quiz Trail, which tested visitors knowledge on a variety of different sports that originated in the UK.


Summer Fun for all the Family

The award-winning 8 acre maize maze has a fun Quiz Trail hidden amongst 3 miles of intricate pathways, with high level bridges & towers giving stunning 3D panoramic views. Also includes an Activity Funyard full of mini mazes and games for all ages.

MUSIC IN THE PARK - Saturday 11th June 2016

The new date for next year has been set for this highly popular annual charity concert, that takes place in the beautiful grounds of Wistow Hall (by kind permission of the Brooks family).

Bring your own picnic and enjoy a wonderful evening listening to music by a local covers band 'Krisis' and the award winning 'Hathern Brass Band'.
The evening finishes with a fabulous fireworks display in front of Wistow Hall.

The concert raises money for local charities including LOROS.

The concert is organised by the Wigston Rotary Club.

Take the hassle out of making a picnic! Hampers can be ordered in advance from the Wistow Café and collected at the concert on the night.
