MUSIC IN THE PARK

This event was held on Saturday 5th June in the beautiful grounds of Wistow Hall, with over 1,300 people attending. Families bought their own picnic and enjoyed music by 'Junction 21' (a fabulous 18 piece swing band) and The Last Night of the Proms by the acclaimed 'Kettering Citadel Brass Band'. They then watched a brilliant firework display set to the 1812 Overture in front of Wistow Hall.
The evening was organised by the Rotary Club of Wigston and was in aid of the charity "LOROS" (Hospice Care for Leicestershire & Rutland) for which the event raised approximately £15,000.
Thank you to everyone who attended and in helping us to raise so much money for such a good cause. Hope to see you all again next year.

The church is open every weekend from Easter to the end of September.
